What I liked about The Third Eye is that the book is mysterious when people appear out of nowhere. It is also a bit scary when the people turn green , and their feet turn more than halfway around. I would rate this book 10 out of 10. I would recommend this book to mystery lovers.
I liked the third eye because it had a kid that was very loved by some one.I didn't like the part when ram was hurt so badly. This book should get 9/10.I recommend my friends to read it.It was so great!I wish my friends had the book because the book was so nice and it reminds me of me and my mom and dad who loved me so mush. But when I got hurt my mom ran down out of me and I was okay.
The silver birch book that I read is "The Third Eye". When I started reading it ,I just couldn't stop. I really liked it! While reading the book I had learned many interesting things. Since this book takes place in India ,I have learned the different gods. Like Lord Yama the Death God. I have also learned a special day that the Indain people celebrate. Even though this book doesn't have any pictures, the words were very descreptive that I can have a picture in my head of the setting and each character that's in the book . I don't really like it when the author doesn't give you the pronounciation of the words.I think the words. I think the ranking would be 9 out of 10. I recommend this book to my friends because the book makes you think about your own culture.
I learned what karma means. The thing I like most was how the 2 main characters OR the 2 siblings stuck toghether, no matter what happened to them they were always there for each other. The character I didn't like in the book was "kali" she was measn and ruthless and selfish she only cared about her daughter. I would rate this 9 out of 10. I would recommend this to my friends because they will learn family values.
The 3 questions I would ask the aouthor.
(1) IS the book based upon a true story, is this your childhood story?.
(2) growing up as a native were you made fun of at school.
(3) What inspired you to write this book. Is it life experience.
THE THIRD EYE I read the book the third eye and I learned that you shoud'nt believe what people say and don't be fooled by they're emotions. What I liked about the book was that the kids were able to do some things on their own. I did not like when the dog got poisned when he ate the kheer. I would rate this book 6/10, because the characters were a bit violent and were appropriate in some parts. I would recomend this book to children that are 10 and over, because there is violence, and unpleasent parts.I would like to ask Mathab Narshiman why you made the book unpleasent? Why did you use suspense? What made you write this book?
The silver birch book that I read is called The Third Eye is amazing. I really liked the book because I really liked learning about the Indian people's culture and the ways they eat. They eat with a banana leaf/peel underneath their food. Also I had learned that a mouse is the god's servant. I really liked the exciting parts like when Tara finally met with her mother and grandpa. I had learned a very respectful way to call your grandpa, "DaDa". You call your older sister,"DiDi". I was shocked to find out that Tara's friend's mom is alive. I learned that whenever a man dies then the wife have to be burned with the man.
1.What did the mouse mean when he asked Tara have she ever played hopscotch?
the third eye is one of my favourites. the reason is because it talks about these poor kids who live with a spoiled rich mean stepmother. If I was rating this book it would be 9.5/10.

My top choices for books I have read are:
1. The Third Eye
2.Sacred Leaf
3. Eye of the Crow
All of the books are good in different ways. In the end,I choose a book which I think deserves it.
Sacred Leaf made second place because it taught me about a subject I knew nothing about.
The Eye of the Crow is third because of the mystery in it.
the third i is my favourite book i've read, and i encourage kids from grades 4-6 read this book.My rating is 9.5/10!!!!!!!!!!!
