this book is just starting to get intresting!!!!
Beverly Brenna lives in Alberta,Edmonton.Beverly wrote other books such as More about the Expierience, Something to hang onto, Wild Orchid, and The Keeper of the Trees.Beverly won the Young Adult Book Award.Beverly started writing poems when she was seven and sent them to Children's Pages of Magazines.When nobody wants to hear her stories,she reads them to her dog, Buddy. He is a very good listener and almost never goes to sleep while she is reading.

This book is very realistic and a little bit humorous.The boy(Billy)in the book taught me to never give up because he never gave up the talent show competition and was determined to get in the talent show competition when he wasn't accepted.I like this book because its interesting and has good use of adverbs and adjectives.The characters in the book are sometimes nice, shy, quiet, loving, caring,curious, determined and sometimes even cruel.If I was to rate this book I would give it a 10 out of 10 because its addictive and really gets you to read on.If I were to ask questions I would ask,where did you get the ideas of writing this book?How long did it take to write this book?When did you start this book?
