Peggy is an independent 12 year old girl that is forced yo live with her Aunt Margret and Uncle Stuart because her mom is doing job interviews in Toronto.Peggy misses her mom and feels miserable because of her Aunt Margret. Her Aunt makes her do boring chores and makes her unhappy. It is very brave of Peggy to walk in Mr.Grimal's store and see Tsonokwa staring at her and it is also brave of her to tell the truth to Eddy, worring that she will get in trouble. Peggy is very unhappy because her friend, Mrs.Hobbs passed away. Peggy used to have a wonderful time collecting shells with Mrs.Hobbs. Peggy is a very adventerous girl.
Peggy is a 12 year old girl who is forced to live with her aunt because her mom lost her job she is an active girl who likes to be outside and collect shells with an elderly women named Mrs. Hobbs.She is also a brave girl who finds about a buriel hole.She is happy and getting along with her aunt. when she found a pendant in the buriel hole, she sells it to a man named Mr. Grimble. She feels guilty abot lieing.
Peggy is a 12 year old girl who is unhappy because she has to live with her aunt since her mother lost her job.She has to live in Crescent Beach in British Columbia.She is a brave girl since she told the truth about the lie she told Eddy.Peggy's hobby is to dig because when she moved into Crescent beach,she and her uncle dug up the backyard and found a skull.She is mad because when Ms.Hobbs was in the hospital,she saw that people were happy.She was verysad when Mrs.hobbs died. but at the end,she was happy because her mom found a job in Vancouver.

She is an independent girl.Mrs.Hobbs died, so peggy got mad and deprassed.She is a very adventurous girl. At the end of the story her mother got a job in Vancouver.And they were all happy.

Peggy is unhappy when her mom moves to Toronto to find a a job. She is a very active and adverturous girl. She likes to visit Mrs. Hobbs everyday, to collect shells. She also , likes to dig with her friend Eddy the archaeoligist. Who is exavating the burial ground of where Peggy found the human skull. She felt guilty selling the pendant to Mr. Grimble.

Peggy is a twelve year old girl.She is very upset because she is split apart from her mom,and has to live with her aunt,because her mom doesn't have a job.She doesn't like her aunt because she makes Peggy do things she doesn't like to do,like chores.Peggy likes archiology,and digs with her archiologist friend Eddie.She likes to dig,and she finds out about a person burried in her backyard.Peggy likes to collect shells,and makes friends with an elderly woman named Mrs.Hobbs and makes necklaces with her shells for her mom.Peggy is very brave to tell the truth.That is very hard sometimes.Peggy is indipendent,she does things on her own.Peggy misses her mom a lot.Peggy is very curios and likes to discover things.She has a great imagination.She was determined to discovered all the bones in her backyard.Peggy is a very interesting girl that loves to discover bones.
Peggy is an independant 12 year old girl.She was sent to Cresent Beach. She lived in Vancouver in British Coulombia. She feels un happy because her aunt tells her to do this or do that.One day her and her aunt called an archiolgist.Now Peggy is interested in archeology, so she digs up bones. Peggy likes to be outside and not inside.She goes to sailing classes, and she and her Ms. hobbs are making a sea shell necklace for her mom.she is friends with an edlerly woman named ms.hobbs.If i were Peggy i would describe Peggy as friendly.Peggy likes to dig. One day she was digging and she came across a pedant,she brought it to Mr.grimble for money to go stay with her mom because Peggy , thinks that her aunt is unbearable.Peggy is unhappy.She has a good imagination.

Peggy is a 12 year old girl.She is living with her aunt Margeret because her mom got fired.She is unhappy because her aunt is making her do her own laundry.She is curius when they find a skull in their backyard.Peggy is unhappy when her aunt signes her up for sailing lessons.Then one day she findes a pendant in her yard and selles it to Mr.Grimble.When she relises what she did her aunt sais what she did too.they cnfess to eddy.WHEN she tries to make Mr.Grimble she sucsedes and is back with her mom.
Peggy is a 12 year old girl she could'nt live with her mom because her mom does'nt have enough money so she had to live in vancouver with her Aunt named Aunt Margret then when she live with her Aunt Margret she didnt like it because her Aunt kept on bossing Peggy around Peggy is a indipenden girl. she like's to dig bones,it is her favourite sport when she was digging with her uncle they discoverd that they found a dead body in there back yard.she found a friend named die that is her friend then she made friends with a elderly woman named Mrs.hobbs.Peggy is very brave.Then she promised to Mrs.hobbs that she will spend time with Peggy so then she forgot and she was really sad she wanted to apologize to Mrs.hobbs then she could'nt because her Aunt wont let her then they found a sea shells then she sold it to Msr.Grimble then she wanted to tell Edie she sorry.Mrs.hobbs died.But then Mrs.Margret kicked Peggy out of her house.She had to live with Msr.grimbles.She was scared of sonoqua.Then she went to apoligise to Mrs.margret then they did then a couple days later her mom ca=me and said that her mom found a job in vancouver so now they can live in vancouver for a couple of days.
Peggy is a 12 year old girl. She is living with her aunt because her mom wants to find a job in Toronto.She does not have a good relashon ship 4with her aunt singhs her up up for things she does not want to do.Peggy is also a very caring girl because when Ms.Hobbs died she was very sad.She is also caring about were the bones go because she wants the bones to go in a museum and not for only one person to see.Peggy is a very brave girl because she took the pendent and gave it to Mr.Grimbile and then told eddie that she gave the pendent to Mr.Grimbile she was also smart to not lyor she would feel guilty.At the end she is happy because her mom found a job.
Peggy had a very different and challenging life. Even though she is only twelve years old, she have to leave her mother to live with her bossy aqunt. Furthermore, she hates her aunt, but she can do nothing about it because her mum need a job to surport Peggy. Slowly, Peggy's life and her character changes.
From her outside, she look just like a twelve years old girl, who like to dig around and collect sea shells. Most of the times, she would be at her backyard helping Eddy with the bone or at Mrs.Hobbs's house having a lots of fun.
From her inside, she is very comilcated and indenpent for her own age. She is also a very friendly girl, who would always be able to help Eddywith the bones, and even be friend with some older adults.In addition, she cares about her mother's job, Eddy, Mrs.Hobbs... Most of all, she cares about the skull, she think they should be at the museum for everyone.Furthermore, she is very brave,she takes out the pendant from her backyard and sell it to Mr.Grimble!She could even admit to Eddy about her mistake, and Eddy forgive her. Peggy is also smart, for example, she could learn and read the bones very fast. Most of the times, Peggy act very emotional to others. When Mrs.Hobbs pass away, Peggy is very upset and sad.From the story, Peggy is always unhappy. At first, Peggy is unhappy because she has to live with her aunt. In the middle, she is unhappy because she has to join the sailing lesson. In the end, she became unhappy because Mrs.Hobbs pass away.
Once again, her mother found a job in Vancouver, which means she is going to leave with Peggy.
'Reading the Bones' is a Sliver Birch book that I read. I really liked this book because it reminds me of how sometimes my parents/family don't get along together. I really enjoyed this book so I don't think I have any negative comments. The rating I would give this book would be a 9. I would recommend that kids in grade 5 or older should read this book because there might be words that smaller children won't understand. 'Reading the Bones' would also be recommended to people who are interested about archeology!
If i was in grade 5 i would vote for Reading the bones because it is interesting and it teaches me new things that i donot know.I also like it because it is mystery book and i like mystery books!Also the author made the expresion of the charectars so i can understand how the charectars are feeling.YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK!My second choice is the boy in motion because it is a great book and it has to relate to sports.My third choice is wild animals in captivity because it gives information about wild animals in captivity is a bad thing and we should not put wild animals in captivity.YOU SHOULD READ THESE BOOKS!!!
If I were in grade 5, but i'm not, i would choose reading the bones because it's creative. I think it's creative because it talks about a life in the past and a life in the present day. I chose wild animals in captivity as my second one because it's really good but at the same time, it's freakish because it talks about animals dieing and humans dieing. I chose the old man with the otter medicine as my last because it's weird and it sounds fake because a spirit can't just come out of your body and come back in. That's weird!!!
The first book that I like the most is Reading The Bones because Peggy is interested to archeology and once they found a skull so thats why now I want to be a arceologist when I grow up it really kind of fun.My second favourite book was Wild animals in captivity because the book the book talks about animals needing our help and the animals are kept in captivity and some get agresive and its cool that the elephants get foot ingections if they stand in one spot for a long time . If I was a grade4 my last favourite book would be the Old man and the otter medicine because its cool that a oldman could transforme in to a otter and the otter saved the fish.
