I really liked the book. My favourite part of the book was when the helicopter came back and saw Shawn, Craig, Tony and Petra. When I started reading it, I couldn't put the book down, because I wanted to know what would happen next! This book is very suspensful.

10/10

I would like to ask the author, what inspired her to write this book?

I would also ask what inspired her to be an author?

The last question I would like to ask is how did you pick Shawn, Craig, Tony, and Petra for there names?

I would recommend this book to everyone because this book is VERY interesting and VERY fun to read!

Chocolate River Rescue:

Chocolate River Rescue is an suspense novel and is a really good page-turner.I learned that it's very dangerous to stand on the ice while a river is flowing very quickly.I liked the part when Petra choose to save Tony,Shawn, and Craige over saving her Uncle.I didn't like the epiloge of the book because it was only about the recuers and the children celebrating their rescue.I think I would rate this book a 9/10 because there was only one part I hated and I loved all of the other parts of the novel.I would recommend this book to people who loves suspense stories.
Would you write a series to this book?
What inspired you to write this book?
How long did it take you to write Chocolate River Rescue?

Chocolate River rescue is a true act of bravery by children. From that book, I learned that good friends save each other by risking their lives, and they will never give up. I liked this book, because it was very suspense. Also, it shows the true friendship/brotherhood. If I get to rate Chocolate River Resue, I would rate it about 9, because the story was just awesome. However, I think the ending should be more interesting. In my opinion, I think this book should be recommanded to children who's 9-12. The book is not long and there aren't that many hard world. When jennifer McGrath Kent comes to our school, I want to ask.....
1. Was it hard to write this book?
2.Did similar experience happen to you?
3. What gave you the idea to write Chocolate River Rescue?

the choclate river rescue book was pretty good. I really really felt sad when they went in the icey river. I felt more happier later on because they were rescued and safe!!! My rating would be 8/10
this is only recommended for kids who are 10+.

Chocolate River Rescue was amazing!I really liked how the book took on different prespectives in every chapter. Some questions I would like to ask are: Where did you get the idea of people stuck on a ice floe in chocolate river? Why did you call the river chocolate? How long did it take for you to write this book? What inspired you to write this book?

This book is a must-read.It had a lot of heartwarming parts. This is my favourite Silver Birch book .Why did you choose Chocolate River Rescue as a title. Why couldn't you choose "Stuck in the Petitcodiac" or maybe "Mid-Winter Peril at the Chocolate River".Why did you choose the book's setting on an ice floe? Why did you choose this genre? Is this book based on a true story? My suggestion is to change the ending. The ending should be like in an awards ceremony where the girl gets an award and they both go back to the Chocolate River and that's the ending. Why did you choose this profession(author)?I hope the sequel White Cave Escape is as good as Chocolate River Rescue.

The Silver birch book i read is "Chocolate River Rescue".I liked the book because it had alot of action and it talks about different peoples persceptive diferent chapters.I think the book is good and when they talked about the kids i felt like the chapters were long.I have a few questions "Why did you call the river chocolate?" and "where did you get the idea to write the book?" and "How long does it take you to write a book"? and "what is your most famous book"? Iam now done writing.

The silver birch book Iam choosing is the Chocolate River Rescue I kind of like the book because it was exciting when there swimming so hard but Tony sink down under the river. I don't like the book Chocolate River Rescue because the kids are always doing the same thing over and over again and repeating the same words. Why can't they flow in to the Ocean?.Why is it so important to get the card?.Is it fun to be a author?do you work?do you want to be a author for the rest of your life?.

My first three choices of silver birch books are 1,Chocolate River Rescue,2,The third eye,3,Eye of the crow.
I would rate Chocolate River Rescue a 10/10.Since Shawn,Craig and Tony got saved by a girl named Petra. Now I will believe that girls are better than boys even more than before. And it is very intense all the time in the book.
I would rate The Third Eye a 9/10 because of that the book is very mysterious and adventurous. It's all about bravery and intelligence .
Iwould rate Eye of the crow 8/10 because the book used many ajectives to discribe the scene of murder.
